what is the building code for space between wall studs in sabastian florida?For the door frames should the frame be double studed and the header be no less than double two by six?For the ceiling joist with more than twenty foot expantion be bigger then two by fours?

2 x 4 studs 16" on center. Door opening require a jack and king stud on each side with the jack supporting the header which is usually a double 2 x 6. A 20' clear span ceiling joist with no attic storage must be a 2 x 8.

If the door opening is not load bearing a double 2 x 4 is sufficient.
