It is best not to mix but it depends on whether you are talking about mixing brands or types

There are various types ranging from detergent vs non detergent
and of course viscosity

This is a good general purpose fluid and would be compatible with what is already in your splitter.

Summation:
All hydraulic oils are not the same.
The ones that are different brands but have the sane properties can be mixed.
Oils with different peoperties IE detergent/ non detergent (same as cleansing / non cleansing) best not to mix.
