I have a Lazy Boy recliner, and it is about 12 years old. Something broke. I heard a loud noise and now the foot rest will no lock in place. I am trying to find a person to repair the chair. Is there any way you can help me?

Things to look for :
1:The screws may be loose or missingI will he glad to answer any questions you may have.

2:check the spring or springs making sure they are not loose or bent.
