Hi my name is ***** ***** I have been in the home improvement and repair field for 20 years. I will be glad to help you today. Is there a green light on one sensor and no light on the other? Which light is flashing?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
neither sensor has a light on. Flashing lights on opener.
Expert:  canuck the pro replied 6 months ago.

Are any of the wires loose on the sensors? Do you have a volt meter to test for voltage on the sensors?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I'll ck for voltage.
Expert:  canuck the pro replied 6 months ago.

Very good. If no wires loose or no voltage then check the PCB for voltage. Basically it is either a loose wire or PCB has failed.

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
What is a PCB? I have 15 acv at wire connection on opener & nothing on sensors.
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
My mistake, I was ck voltage on terminals 1 & 2 when I should've been on 2 & 3. There is NO voltage on terminals 2 & 3 on the opener.
Expert:  canuck the pro replied 6 months ago.

Are those the terminals for the wiring of the sensors? Do you have 12v on the sensors?

Expert:  canuck the pro replied 6 months ago.

You will not have voltage on the return wiring for the sensors. That is switched when the sensors are on and aligned.

Expert:  canuck the pro replied 6 months ago.

The PCB is the printed circuit board in the opener. You may also want to check that there is not a red blinking light on the PCB.
