I have pooling water on a new flat roof. Roofer said not to

Customer Question

I have pooling water on a new flat roof. Roofer said not to worry it will evaporate. In addition there is a sag in the roof and again he said it is not a concern. I know there are termites in the rafters as termite inspection revealed. This is a single level attached 5 unit condo. They are recommending tenting to eliminate the termites, but I think the rafters need inspection to evaluate the integrity. any suggestions would be helpful

Generally small puddles are common and not a concern on a flat EDPM membrane roof. However it sounds like you have structural issue that should be checked out at least by a qualified builder/carpenter if not a structural engineer.
