we live in an old farmhouse on a horse farm. we love the peace and quiet and fantastic views, but those horse flies keep finding their way into our house. the love the guest room for whatever reason. they swarm around the balcony and door of the guest room and practically cover the windows, particularly during the summer. it's embarrassing for us to host owing to the horse flies. the door and windows are newer replacement kinds. are they improperly installed? how do we fly-proof our house and that room in particular?
