reaching here but ............tremors?.........small earthquake?.........google for any seismic activity in your area...............do you live on a steep incline?.........how is the water pressure in your house?..........has that changed?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Negative to all, no earthquake, water pressure is as usual, and very minor incline

In Vancouver bc quite distant from there :

ok I think we can rule that out then............this really is a mystery tho.............there had to be some kind of shift in the foundation......which is ever changing...........everywhere else in the house seems fine?........were the tiles that popped close to a drain pipe ?...........the bathroom on a slab or wood joists?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I understand the "settling" process lasts forever, it's a 22 year old house. There's some cracking on the wall but that cracks are very narrow. I wonder can that be "tenting" of tiles?
Expert:  Eddie replied 8 months ago.

could be ...........narrow or wide it is still a shift ...........doors might not work...........tiles pop.... but it is very peculiar they way you explained it.......all at once I mean

if you could scroll back and answer the other few questions I had

Expert:  Eddie replied 8 months ago.

does the water main to your house come in by that bathroom?...............were they flushing the pipes in the street?

sorry for all the questions ..........just trying to figure the suddenness of it all

Expert:  Eddie replied 8 months ago.
