Customer Question

I have a craft an table saw model###-##-#### ***** power switch is not working (saw is as unboxed). There are two power cords , 1 is about 14" long and the other is about 5'. Neither one seems to be controlled by the power switch. The short cord is directly connected to the motor and the other is connected to the power switch housing. Is there any thing as to known problems along these lines?

The out side description you have given is correct.

The short cord goes to the motor on one end, the other end goes to the switch. The long cord goes from the switch to the

Electric receptacle .

You said it worked when connected to a power strip.

That would eleminate any wiring problems involving the two cords and the switch.

This is assuming you plugged the saw directly into the power strip and did not byoass the switch or longer cord .
