Customer Question

About 2 years ago I bought at Home Depot a LP Dual Propane Tanktop 10-30K btu LP Dual Burner tank, I decided to finally use it and I can get it on, But it won't stay on once I let go of the Push part to get gas to the screens. I tried several times and it does the same thing. I can get the gas to the Heaters but as soon as I let go of the red Buttons to get the gas there, They won't stay lit.

It sounds like the thermocouple ( located near the pilot light is not working properly) check for physical damage , out of line with the pilot , broken wire , bent,

The pilot heats it up abd it opens the gas valve.

Look for loose wires at the gas valve also. The valve could be bad but it is more likely the thermocouple.'

You can find these parts on line just compare model numbers or dimensions.

I will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
