Welcome. My name is ***** ***** would be glad to assist.

Can you look on the sides, the back and even the front if it has a light lens and see if you find a small row of little slide or push type switches in a block.

Usually 8, 9 or 10 switches.

If it is an older unit, it will have these on the opener in the ceiling or inside the wall control if it is a large rectangular one.

We can then find a universal hand held to use with the unit.

But prefer to be sure it has those switches.

Let me know and we can continue,

Thanks
