Welcome. My name is ***** ***** would be glad to assist.

Please provide the make and model of the opener

AND the Keypad so that the proper specifications can be obtained to better assist you.

The red light flashing is on the back of the opener? Or the keypad?

Let me know and we can continue,

Thanks

i have a legacy opener and a model okp-bx keypad the red light is on the keypad from overhead door

Ok, thanks.

At what stage in the programming is this happening?

Are you able to program your Pin? It must be done first, before programming to the opener.

On your wireless keypad:

  • Press in order 3, 5, 7
  • Press the PROGRAM key
  • Enter your PIN (3 to 8 characters)
  • Press the PROGRAM key again.
  • Close keypad cover and wait 30 seconds

That will program the pin into the keypad.

Are you able to finish that and get it ready for the opener?

Let me know

Thanks
