Welcome. My name is ***** ***** would be glad to assist.

Please provide some details.

The door will close about one foot when you press the remote or the wall button, then open back up all the way? Is that correct?

How do you get the door closed to test the open sequence?

Make and Model of the opener will help to acquire the exact specifications?

Let me know and we can continue,

Thanks
