I was cleaning my oak floors. I set the bottle of Armstrong

Customer Question

I was cleaning my oak floors. I set the bottle of Armstrong shine-keeper on my wood end table. It was dripping, and ran onto the wood. I should never have set it on a piece of furniture. It is flat, and shines. I can't refinish this furniture. It is an antique.

Can you post a picture here of the table and the problem area (2 pics, 1 close up & 1 wide) . You can post a picture here by clicking on the paper clip icon in the tool bar at the top of this dialogue box. You can only post from a PC or a Mac not a phone or a tablet. If that doesn’t work for you then you can upload a pic to a file sharing service likehttp://tinypic.com/ OR https://www.dropbox.comand post the “share” link to your picture here or you can email the pic to customer service but the last option can take quite a while to get to me. sorry I don't have a cell phone. No way to send a picture. In fact this bottle was set down on several pieces of wood. All through the house. I can refinish the oak furniture. I can' refinish the antique Mont Airrey cabinet. It is burled wood, with what looks like a laquear finish. I would never try to sand or even touch it.

what do you think. Is it impossible to fix the cabinet

I can't advise you on how you might deal with this unless you can provide the info I need. In some instances we'd use 000 or 0000 steel wool to knock down a shine. I'm sorry but you just aren't giving me enough info.
