Welcome. My name is XXXXX XXXXX would be glad to assist. Please understand that I must ask questions in order to provide you with the best possible solutions.
First, is the regulator knob turned up to a high setting?
2nd, can you remove the hose off the air compressor where it connects to the tank and then start the compressor with your finger over the hose to see if it is pumping air? This will tell if something is happening inside the compressor. It should PUSH air and NOT do any back suction after pushing the air out.
The regulator knob is turned all the way counterclockwise - I tried to undo the hose but even with vice grips going lefty loosey - the nut won't turn so I can't check the air. Tina
Regulator should be turned all the way Clockwise
I have tried that too but it didn't help - then I noticed that air was coming out the valve on the bottom used for draining water - I guess because it was new it had worked free. I tightened that and the tank filled. Thanks
