Garage door doent open with the panel outside. However it does open from the button inside. When I enter the code outside the lights flash for about 10 seconds but nothing happens. It has worked fine for years and suddenly has this issue. Nothing is blocking the sensors but one sensor light is green and the other one is yellow. Thanks!

The model number is XXXXX on the motor and should start with the digits 139.

I will need that in order to help you as there have literally been hundreds of different model number garage door openers marketed under the name of Craftsman

This is the only thing I can find for a model number, 139.53975SRT1

Its a 1/2 HP and the build date is 10/00

I should add this, When I say the panel is wired in I am pretty sure it is. Looks as if there are wires going through the wall to where it is.

No owners manual. It was in this house when I bought the house.

The instructions to re-program your remote keypad are on page 36 of the owners manual for which I have provided a link below so you may download a copy to your hard drive. Craftsman Door Opener 139.53975SRT1 Manual

 

The instructions to reprogram the keypad are pretty simple however, if you need any further clarification or if reprograming does not work to correct the problem you are experiencing, please post back with your status.
