want to use laminate flooring on the landing. but stairs are carpet, how do i finish the laminate-to - stair carpet?

Hi

Where the landing meets the riser going up the stairs you would just staple or tack the carpet at the bottom of the riser where it meets the landing. Going down you would use a nosing at the edge of the landing (there should be nosing available that is compatible with the laminate flooring) then staple or tack the carpet at the top of the riser where it meets the underside of the nosing.
