Sorry to hear about your problem.
You can remove the crayon by using a heated iron on top of a paper towel. The iron will melt the wax and the paper towel will absorb it.

Hi, sorry for the delay in repsonding, had issues with my broadband, i tried the solution but did not work, does it make a difference if it is rough granite and not smooth, as the crayon is on rough granite.

It should work either way.....the iron melts the wax and the paper towel absorbs it right away. You can also try Goo Gone. It works at removing crayon.
