You can use glue to stick a stamp on an envelope .. BUT not tape, the face of the stamp needs to be able to be marked so it will not be easily used again.

Ok, let's take a look at this;
When using glue a couple points need to be mentioned, The postal service recommend using a Glue stick, applying the glue to the envelope, making sure that enough is used to place the whole stamp down, if the edges aren't covered the stamp could be torn off in travel to the post Office.
If you use Elmer's liquid glue the stamp can curl or ripple when it dries, this could also cause it to peel off. Using a stick glue will allow you to place the stamp flat and it will dry faster.
