my air conditioning unit won't blow cold air and the line going to the unit keeps freezing up

you are no doubt low on freon. or your filter is plugged up. or you have no filter at all and your coil is plugged with dust. so if you have a filter check to see if it is plugged. if not than again you are low on freon and will need to call a repairman. if you have to call one and they come out dont settle for just a recharge insist on them finding the leak, "freon dont wear out" the only way one is low is it LEAKS'S out.
