    I had vaginal sex using a condom about 9 weeks ago with a random woman I met in a bar, but did not have protected oral sex, both ways. About a week to a week and a half I experienced all the normal signs of early stage hiv, from oral thrush, fever, soar throat, and slight fatigue. After reading some Internet information I had an HIV antibody test done at 8 weeks and the results were negative, which was a huge relief. I am still extremely anxious about the accuracy of this test at this time frame, and even though I plan on getting tested as requested at 3 and 6 months, I was wanting to know what, if any assurance or percentages that the 8 week test were a good indication that I do not have HIV and the risks associated with unprotected oral sex regarding contracting hiv. Truthfully, I was ignorant concerning oral sex being an issue for contracting hiv until this all occurred.
