This is Dr. David

have you been plugged into the China National Free Antiretroviral Treatment Program?

here is an article about it

http://ije.oxfordjournals.org/content/39/suppl_2/ii1.full

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19687491

in the program they can test for subtype HIV-2 strains for you and recommend treatment drug options which have the least chance of resistance.

Dr David
My question was for the names of successful drugs for HIV in China. The 2nd address could not be found. The 1st address contained only studies of improvements in proceedures and analysis of similar.I need to pass on the names of good drugs to someone in China very quickly, before drugs are offered (that may have a bad history)Can you send me the names of drugs in China to treat HIV 2.

To date, there have been no randomized trials addressing the question of when to start ART or the choice of initial or second-line therapy for HIV-2 infection. Therefore, the optimal treatment strategy has not been defined. HIV-2 appears intrinsically resistant to non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTIs) and to enfuvirtide

data suggest HIV-2 is sensitive to the currently available nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs): zidovudine, lamivudine, didanosine, abacavir are all HIV medications which can be used for HIV-2

here are some drugs that can also be used
protease inhibitors (PIs): lopinavir, saquinavir, and darunavir
integrase inhibitor, raltegravir, maraviroc
