what is chance of hiv test being wrong and what is the likley hood of catching it off infected person after 5 months unprotected sex
Optional Information: Person's Gender: Male Person's Age: 39 Already Tried: have been to sex clinic and they said i am clear but my girlfreind may have hiv ,they have taken more blood to make sure. we have been having unprotected sex for 4 months .Is it possible that i am not showing yet or they have made mistake with me or her.. I think she has a problem with her blood anyway as she has an intolerance to alcohol , her skin goes red and itchy and her eyes go very red to ,could this be a factor in the hopefully wrong diagnosis????
This is dr David There are too many unknown factors in this situation currently Hopefully on retesting she will be HIV negative and then you don't have to worry I'm not sure what condition she had but usually medical conditions do not alter the results of HIV testing
