I am a male and had unprotected sex for about 30 seconds before

Resolved Question:

I am a male and had unprotected sex for about 30 seconds before telling the girl I wanted to put on a comdon. What are the chances I could have contracted the HIV virus if the girl is HIV positive?

Your chances are virtually nil. The chances of contracting HIV from a single exposure to a female, and by exposure I mean more than a few minutes, are less than 0.01%. Hence, in a 30 second exposure it would be even less. Suffice it to say, you are safe, thanks to yoru quick thinking and decision to put a condom on.
