What is an info request and when should I use one?
Solution An Info Request should be used when you want to clarify what the Customer needs or to get more information. You want to provide the Customer with the best answer you can so, sometimes, you need to find out more specifically what kind of help they need. To accomplish this, post your question to the Customer in the reply box and check the box marked "Need Info" before submitting your post.
The Customer will be able to view your post even if they have not paid the deposit. Info requests should NOT be used to provide an answer for the customer in any situation because it is impossible for a customer to accept an Info Request. Posting an Info Request (or a regular post, for that matter) does not give you ownership of the question. Other Experts can still respond.
