You need to open the fuel bleed valve at the injection pump, to get the air out. If it has a manual prime pump, pump it until all air is out at the injection pump. If it has electric pump turn key on and let the electric pump pump fuel to the injection pump bleeder valve, then close off the bleeder and see if engine will start. If not, loosen the injection lines at the cylinder head and crank until fuel is squirting, then tighten the lines and start engine.
