what is the horse power and torque of a 3126 and a c7. Currantly have a 2007 330 peterbilt with a c7 in it and a manual trans. which has plenty of power. And I am looking to buy another peterbilt 330 with a 3126 motor and a alison automatic trans. It has a 12' dump box which i will be loading up with approximately 7 tons of material and I will be pulling a trailer loaded with another 8-10 tons. Do you think I will have enough power in this motor?

Hi. Thanks for using JA! I will try and help you out.Both the C7 and the 3126 engine can have up to 330 hp and 860 foot pounds of torque. That is the max they can have. They can also have 300 hp as well. If your 3126 has one of these, it should be enough power to handle those loads. Please reply back if you need more help or have more questions.
