Hi. Thanks for using JA! I will try and help you out.It sounds like there may be damage to one or more of the cylinders. Sorry, I wish I had better news. It is possible that while the engine was running when you first started it up there was not enough coolant and this could cause cylinder damage. Without coolant completely around the cylinder liners, it could have caused them to overheat. I am sorry, I wish this was not the case. Please reply back if you need more help or have more questions.
it was a total of 6 gallons and i have engine runing for 5 minutes, radiator cap was off and it dont look hot, can engine over heat in 5 minutes?
To be honest I would not think so. However I must believe something could have happened. Did the engine over heat or anything prior to replacing the water pump?
i not driving the truck my self but i thing its possible but why fisrt time start up good? its somthing i can do wrong while im putting water pump?
I see. Thanks for the information.I would not think there was anything you could have done wrong while installing the water pump. The engine could have ran hot before and started to damage one or more of the cylinders. Then it got worse.
