SHUTS OFF WE PLACED IN GEAR...CHANGED SEAT SWITCH AND PARK/NEUTRAL SWITCH
Optional Information: Make: JOHN DEERE Model: 4500 POWEREVERSER Already Tried: CHANGED PARK/NEUTRAL SWITCH AND SEAT SWITCH
Hi my name isXXXXX will try to help. Check your brake/clutch switch and your wiring harness. Could you post your complete model and serial number? Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using JA
i will get all info for you. i thought there was a clutch switch but could not find it,was told by local jd dealer no clutch switch ,sold me the 2 switches he had
looked up and said thats all there is .i even checked the 2 safety switch relays #5 and #6 both were good.
Ok. thanks for the info. using a test light, check and monitor the power at the fuel shut off solenoid. It should open up with power with the ignition switch on and then off with the switch off. Also check the connections coming from the accessory post of your ignition switch. If you are loosing power at your fuel shut off then thoroughly inspect your harness and connections for any loose, corroded, or broken connections. Since this is a power reverser is probably why there is not brake/clutch switch. It is common for the neutral safety to act up but since that is new, it is possibly a wiring issue. Inspect your harness for bare wiring or loose and corroded connections... Let me know thanks
tractor runs all day with neutral switch by-passed i will get all info today
friday 5/11
If it runs/starts with the neutral safety switch bypassed then your neatral safety switch is bad. Replace the switch and you should be all set. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using JA

I AM GOING TO CHECK SEAT SWITCH HARNESS AGAIN I WILL LET YOU KNOW IF THAT IS THE ISSUSE
POOR REPLY WAS FOR THE ANSWER TO THIS REPLY

Hi. I answer questions on here part time. I do not understand what you mean by a poor reply. I see your last post posted at 9:58PM when I was sleeping and I just checked in now before I left for a call. Usually if you by pass a switch and it works, that means the switch is bad or the switch is not engaged. I will be unavailable the rest for a while as I will be tied up on a call. Let me know what you find or if you need further assistance. Thanks fr using JA
look,i replied to your 8:45am answer, poor reply/answer
