Hi, Bobcat S185 with 4 in 1 bucket problem.the bucket started to open slowly, but would close fast and hard, then would not open at all.the bucket will open when going backwards doing smoothing work, it just seems nothing is making it stay closed.nothing appears broken and no fluid leaks.any ideas ?
Welcome to JUST ANSWER heavy equipment. With years of experience, I look forward to doing my best to help. One of the cylinders on that function has internal leak and is bypassing. Bottom out cylinders in one direction or other, figure out which is the pressure hose for that function, remove one of the opposite lines to one of the cylinders, pressure it up again, same direction. If oil comes from open cylinder hole, the cylinder is bypassing, If oil pours from the hose you removed, the opposite cylinder is the bad one. You will need to rework the bad cylinder. Let me know.
