Hello,

I am Sorry, did not think of that
On the Backing plate , you will see a slot,
has star wheel, turn that opposite of axle , to loosen
need a speical Tool, or use a screwdriverwayne40988.0861189815

Customer replied423 days and 19 hours ago.

Hello,

OK,
if yo can not back off by the star wheel,
I taking it you are saying it is stripped ,
this is very uncommon, you just need to force it, to back off,
other wise use pry bars to move wheel off,
spray a oil in there , on shoes this will help, slide off
if both sides are doing this, you are not backing it off all the way
they will stop, Freeze, and force to loosen

Customer replied423 days and 18 hours ago.

is their a lock in there at the tooth wheel.

Hi
Yes ,
a little bar , that goes across the wheel to keep it from turning
not to unadjust

you have to force past this

Good Morning

How did this work out for you

Wayne

Customer replied417 days and 6 hours ago.

Sorry for the delay.I had consulted with Hino on this truck and there was a slot for a rod to be inserted.to assist in backing off brakes. The piston assembly turned out to be bad as i was told this seem to be a common problem when owners let the front brakes go to far out of adjustment.

Hello,
That is what I had mentioned , about inserting a tool into the slot,
Glad you have it going,
Adjust your brakes every 5000 miles
