Diesel..fuel line..Changed fuel filter and successfully bled the air

Customer Question

Toyosha Diesel, 3 cly., 16hp on Massey Ferguson Model 1010

Have air in fuel line from changing fuel filter O-ring. Changed fuel filter and successfully bled the air from lines. Later had fuel leak around filter and removed to replace O-ring. Having done that I am now unable to bleed the air. I am following the instructions as provided in the service manual for this tractor, ie., ensure bulb is full, bleed till fuel flows at bleeder valve and bleed at each injector line. At one injector, the rear one, I am gatting no air bubbles or fuel. The engine was running very good and easy to start prior to my changing the O-ring.

Good Evening,

wayne :

the best way to do this , is fill the filters with fresh fuel,

wayne :

crack all 3 injections lines at injectors, crank over 10-15 sec intervals, rest 30 sec. till you see bubbles, it may take 4-5 times to purge air, but it will work

wayne :

when you see bubbles, close lines, set throttle at 3/4, and start
