Customer Question

I have a 2001 hino fa truck and i am having a problem with the vacuum buzzer going off.I checked the vacuum from the pump going into the tank and there is no leak. From the tank going to the boosters the vacuum seems to lose pressure.Could it be the boosters are no good?

Optional Information:
Make: Hino
Model: Fa
Year: 2001
Engine: 105c td

Already Tried:
We have checked the vacuum from the pump to the tank and changed all three check valves. The vacuum in the tank does not leak down.when the vacuum is hooked up to the boosters then it takes long for the vacuum to build up.when the vacuum pressure is full we step the break one time then the buzzer goes off.

Hi I'm Wayne, I will help you with this,

wayne :

HI,

wayne :

OK you tell me , checked Vacuum in Tanks, Replaced check valves , soon as you hit brake pedal, you loose vacuum, and buzzer goes off.........

wayne :

you have 1 of 2 problems, internal leak in Booster , (not uncommon)

wayne :

2nd, your Brakes are worn out, and travel on cylinders, and vacuum assist is used up , immediately

wayne :

need brakes, I have seen this before, went both ways, booster replacement, or brake Job
