Hi I own a 2007 FM Hino 6 wheel that is limited to 90kmph how do I change it to 100kmph i have spoken to the local dealer and they do not want to know we use the truck for long runs and 90kmph is a bit slow we are fitting larger tyres but we need more engine revs currently we get 2500rpm @ 90kmph the motor will rev out to 2900.

Hello the dealer would have to change the MAX speed in the ecm. I'm not sure why the dealer is saying no, Your the customer and it is YOUR truck and You would pay the bill. But with out the Speed changed in the ecm you would not get anymore out of it. Also if you are putting bigger tires on that parameters (tire size) would also have to be changed in the ecm for correct adjustments to the engines performance.
