2002 volvo: isx..pressure in radiator can this be caused..head gasket

my 2002 volvo isx 500 hp keeps building pressure in radiator can this be caused by anything other than head gasket leading? Rick Hutchinson MN

most likely cause is Head gasket, but how did you eliminate the compressor

Customer:

hooked up pressure gauge ,left truck run til pressure was up to used air to kick in compressor no change in reading

wayne :

It only takes a small amount, might not be able to tell, that way,

wayne :

bleed down air tanks, remove dis charge line, run truck and shut off after 5 min. if no air, its compressor, if is air, then Head Gasket
