Thats Ok. I just always like making sure that i give the most accurate information possible. I will assume that it s a 5Ek, 6TS, or 2WS engine.
Here is an image of the water pump. In order to remove it, you must drain the cooling system first. Then you will need to remove the thermostat housing (7). Then remove the backing plate (8). Then remove the elbow that connects the oil cooler to the water pump (10).
Then all you have left to do is remove the bolts that are located on the front of the engine and the water pump will come off.
if your engine has an alternator on top of the water pump, it will need to be removed as well.
