On my C15 Cat 2006 I have a intake valve actuator 3 or 4 fault how do I check which one it is

I found the problem as I was waiting

Oh, what did you find?

Customer:

I pulled the plug and repluged now no fault

Clayton :

ok. check for spread pins, might have a loose connection in the pins

Customer:

I will check that allso

The fault MIGHT come back, cycle the ignition, and it does a solenoid test

Clayton :

if the light goes out, then that was your problem.

I have had numerus problems with them and have always went to dealer now I know Thanks

Ya..in future, inspect your intake valve actuator studs, they have a problem with breaking

Customer:

Seen this LOTS of times. If you get intake valve actuator faults, and a top end engine noise, look for this to be the problem
