wayne :

Hi I'm Wayne, I will help you with this,

wayne :

How many cuss words do you know, reason being, that is what is going to take

wayne :

OK, here we go, drain down coolant, evacuate the freon, remove all coolant hoses, remove and tape off all freon lines,

wayne :

this is all done in the engine compartment

wayne :

now to cab, remove the passenger side dash skirt, and remove blower motor, now the hard part, follow the case all around the the heater core A/C core, and remove the 5/16 screws, remove that cover, then you will see 4-6 bolts that hold cores in, remove them, get bandages to cover all your cuts, on fingers and hands, have a smoke, and pull cores out, Not bad was it

JACUSTOMER-0afse430- :

so does the temperature control come too?

wayne :

yes that will be attached in the case, I'll tell you right now, this is a job, you really don't want to take on, it is easier to pull the heads

wayne :

or trans, then go thru that ordeal

JACUSTOMER-0afse430- :

does the tempersture control motor have to be timed?

wayne :

I have to be honest, not sure , don't recall

wayne :

is this a sleeper

JACUSTOMER-0afse430- :

well to get cover off temp motor and alittle arm has to come off thats all left holding it

wayne :

you can't remove them, ??? I trying to think back, I believe it is a horse shoe clip, in side the housing, wiggle hand in and remove clip

JACUSTOMER-0afse430- :

i'm running out to look....be right back

wayne :

I believe the little arm is connect to the Temp, control valve

wayne :

I'll be back in 5 min

JACUSTOMER-0afse430- :

I appreciate your time...unfortunetly you didn't give me any information I didn't already know.

wayne :

Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX

JACUSTOMER-0afse430- :

thank you very much!!

wayne :

Have a good evening, hope you solve you problem, God Bless you, and yours
