Hi I'm Wayne,
I will help you with this,
should be a bleed screw on pump, but best way to crack open injection lines, and crank at 10-15 sec. intervals.

Get back to me.Cool
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Can't even see the injectors-only fuel lines accessible are to the filter
Expert:  Wayne replied 7 years ago.
HiCustomer

The injector lines on the pump, crack them lose.

Also another expert just told me about the heui pump,
if these are heui injectors which i am pretty sure they are

the only way to prime this engine is keep filling the fuel filters

Thanks, Wayne

There is no fuel being pulled out of filters - full when I take them down

good morning my name is don wayne requested me to help you

fistr thing did you replace the fuel filters
also do you have a primer bulb on this
it is usuall on top of the fuel filter housing

don
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

New filters - No primer.

Getting a little whispy smoke from the stack-but won't catch to run.

I crank for a few-check filters-still full to top.

Truck has duel draft system+was operated on steep angle-sucked air

from high tank

Expert:  Don replied 7 years ago.
good morning thanks for that information

have you tried pressuring the fuel tank with air as you turn it over
or a wisp of starting fluid
don
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

Both -it will run a moment on S.F ,but won't turn over-sonds almost like it wants to.

I don't want to keep it running on S.F.

Expert:  Don replied 7 years ago.
hi there thanks for that information

you are correct in not keeping it running on starting fluid it will dry put the cylinder walls if used continiously

have you checked the fuel pump relay and fuses

did it run completely out of fuel or did you shut it off as soon as it started to stumble

I rigged up a make-shift transfer pump+teed it into secondary filter+she fired right up.

I guess it creates an air bubble in the head where it's a little higher than the filter.

Either way,Thanks!
