I have a 2005 hino and the headlights only work on hi-beam.I bought a new headlamp at walmart and plugged it in and the same thing happen. The lights only worked on hi beam?
Hi I'm Wayne, I will help you with this, sounds like your low beam relay is out /not working, look in fuse box/panel, should be marked low beam, switch around with other relay to check. Sure that's what you wil find.Get back to me.
I see where these are. They appear to be fuses and not "relays" They are 15 amp. I have done the following. There are 2 hi beams fuses1 left1 rightI removed the hi beam right and it shuts off the right high beam. There are 2 low beam fuses.I have switched the working fuses for the either right or left low beam and they still dont light up.In addition there are the followinghead lamp main relay - a fuse 5amphead lamp dim relay - a fuse 5 ampI turn the hi beams on and pull the main relay and they shut offI have exchanged these fuses as well.I know these fuses are good as there is a clicking noise when you pull or remove these fuses.
HiCustomerOk, the fuses, for low beam, use a test light/voltmeter,,and see if you have power to both sides of fuse, your correct the fuses are good, now we just need to see if your getting power to them. Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX back to me.,
