This is a labor intensive repair. In our shop we raise the front of the tractor almost to where it is standing on it's end. If you can only do it from the ground, you will have to remove the idler pulleys to get the new belt inbetween the pulleys and guides, and if the belt goes around the sterring shaft, that too will need to be removed to allow the new belt to slip in. I suggest raising the front of tractor way up for access. If you have a rope hoist or cherry picker, anything to stand it almost straight up, otherwise it is very difficut because of the tight conditions. If gas leaks from the cap, remove the cap and put a bag over the filler neck, then re-install the cap.
