where is the oil pressure sending unit on a 60 series detroit diesel? I have a 2000 frt century. The gauge cycle ok thru start up but then it stays on 60lbs and does not move.

the oil pressure sensor is located on the right(driver)rear side of the engine just below the engine lift bracket.Hope this helps,thanks.Dave

The Oil Pressure Sensor (OPS) is installed into the main engine oil gallery. A typical location is the left rear corner of the cylinder block

the right from the front of the truck(drivers side ) the left from the drivers seat!
