Above the starter is a block drain, remove the fitting and screw in a hose nipple.

By the thermostat, (the stat is under the upper radiator hose) there are a couple of pipe plugs. Remove which ever is the easiest to get at, and screw the other nipple there.

You can get nipples at a good parts house, take in the piece you removed so they can get the right threads for you. You want the nipple size to be the same as what is on your heater.
