Dear customer

Thank you for being online.

The normal ranges for AST and ALT are around 0 to 40 IU/L and 0 to 45 IU/L respectively. Your value of AST & ALT are 61& 40. It is very very slightly above normal. I do not think this is of concern.

Serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT)- also called Aspartate transaminase(AST),serum glutamic pyruvate transaminase(SGPT) also called Alanine transaminase (ALT) are abnormally increased many folds in conditions where cells of the liver have been inflamed or undergone cell death.

I advise you to reduce your alcohol intake (both quantity &frequency) and have repeat AST & ALT after 3 months.

As of now, these numbers are not of concern.Nothing to worry.

Thank you.

Hope this helped
