Hello,
Thank you for your question.
I am Dr Saha, I shall try my best to help you.

How high is the temperature?

Does he have respiratory distress?
Did you give any medicine? When?

How is food intake?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
His fever is around 101-102
He has a wet deep rattle in his cough but he doesn't cough often
I have given him Tylenol but it doesn't seem to be doing muchHe hasn't wanted to eat anything, I also heard that you're supposed to starve a cold so I haven't offered anything this morning. My mother was put on antibiotics yesterday and I think he caught what she has.

Thank you for all the information,
I am sorry for his symptoms.
You can give him motrin if tylenol does not work.
I hope this would bring down the fever.
Please try to give him plenty of fluid, frequent soft diet.
It is not necessary to starve.
Starving will cause dehydration & more problems.
Please keep the room warm & humidified.
If you feel he is having breathing difficulty he should be seen in ER.
Otherwise he can visit his regular doctor.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
Wish him early recovery.
Please rate my answer excellent if you are satisfied with it.
Regards.
