I have been having chronic testicular pain on the left side

Customer Question

I have been having chronic testicular pain on the left side for more than 4 weeks now. My doctors treated me with CIPRO 500 mg for 20 days, for epidydimitis. I also saw an Ortho surgeon last week and he said I have osteoarthritis in my left hip and is recommending a steroid injection. Can hip/groin pain radiate down to the testes and cause all my discomfort? I am very frustrated at this time. Any ideas on a possible course of treatment?

Do you have any other symptom? or past illness?
Did you have any test?

Customer: replied 25 days ago.
A CT UROGRAM AND CYSTOSCOPY OF BLADDER
AND X-RAYS OF PELVIS AND BACK WHICH SHOWED THE OSTEOARTHRITIS.
I also had blood in my urine on 3-4 occasions.

Thank you for all the information,
I am sorry for your symptoms.
Osteoarthritis of pain can radiate down & be felt in the buttock.
This pain is usually associated with stiffness of joint, limitation of activity of the hip.
As there is X ray findings of osteoarthritis of hip, it is likely there.
Hip osteoarthritis is common.
But blood in urine will not come from osteoarthritis of hip.
There is likely a problem with genitourinary system.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
Wish your early recovery.
Please rate my answer excellent if you are satisfied with it.
Regards.
