JA: How long have you had the pain? What seems to make the pain better or worse?
Customer: about 24 hours. lying down makes it worse. sitting or standing up doesn't hurt as much.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: nothing. I'm not allergic to any medication. I'm a pretty healthy woman.

Hi Dr. Ashori here.

I would recommend ranitidine 300mg in the morning and same dose in the evening.

Also, omeprazole 20mg twice a day.

To get even more immediate relief you can start taking maalox or similar over the counter antacid.

This will coat the lining of the intestines and help with the ulcer.

We are talking about an intestinal ulcer correct? Not a diabetic food ulcer or leg ulcer?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
