My hands randomly turn purple and red along with mild pain

Customer Question

My hands randomly turn purple and red along with mild pain and tingling/numbness. I was seen at the ER, they did an EKG, chest X-ray and blood work. They said all my tests came back normal and that I'm having anxiety/panic attacks but I want a second opinion. To add, I also use stimulants occasionally and I told the doctor at the ER too, still said it was anxiety/panic.

Which stimulants do you use?

How is your pulse rate & blood pressure?

How is temperature of hands?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I use methamphetamine (smoke), my pulse rate and blood pressure are normal and my hand temp feels normal. They get a swollen feeling along with the discoloration and tingling.

Thank you for all the information,
I am sorry for your symptoms.
It can be from anxiety state as the ER doctor has told.
Please do not get worried about it.
You can consult doctor for anti anxiety medicine.
If it persists after taking anxiolytic, a doppler ultrasound or angio can be taken.
But I feel those tests will not be necessary as doctor did not find any abnormality so far.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
Wish your early recovery.
Please rate my answer excellent if you are satisfied with it.
Regards.
