Hello,
I am Dr. Arun and will be helping you today.

Where is the pain exactly located; on chest?

What is your age and gender?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I am 19 female its on my left side around my ribs and heart and back
Expert:  Dr. Arun Phophalia replied 3 months ago.

The most likely diagnosis for your symptoms is Costochondritis; it is inflammation at the junctions of rib and cartilage or with the breast bone / sternum. Local analgesic ointment, or spray, chest brace and warm compresses with Ibuprofen is helpful. Another possibility is muscle sprain. Please read about the costochondritis;

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/costochondritis/DS00626

The other possibilities, though uncommon are:

1) Pleurodynia

2) Polychondritis.

It does not lookk like serious,, especially with your age group and presentation. Still any chest pain need an evaluation by a doctor at the earliest. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

I would be happy to assist you further, if you need any more information.
