I have recently started having red splotches appear on my

Customer Question

hi. I have recently started having red splotches appear on my body, and only in certain places. I have a spot appear on my wrist, and a couple of splotches on each of my upper arms, and a lot on my back. It came on very recently, and I would like to know what it may be. Also it seems like ever since this started up, I have not felt too good (nauseous). I never threw up, but felt sick, and been feeling pretty tired lately. Any ideas on what it can be ?

Take OTC Prilosec/Emetrol.

If your symptoms'll not show any improvement then see your doctor for a clinical exam and further blood work include CBC,ESR,Liver function test,Absolute eosinophil count.

Hi. I notice that it will be barely noticeable in the morning when I get up but as the day goes on it becomes more noticeable . Sone places are small and red and other places are more splotchy and red , not to mention feeling tired and sometimes nauseous
Expert:  Onlinedoc replied 3 months ago.

Sorry for late reply and inconvenience.

As per your description, possibly it's Urticaria.

And triggers include
a food allergy – to foods such as peanuts, shellfish, eggs and cheese
an allergic reaction – to environmental factors such as pollen, dust mites or chemicals
emotional stress
certain medications
physical triggers – such as pressure to the skin, changes in temperature, sunlight, exercise or water

So you should try such self care remedies and see your doctor if your symptoms are persistent.

hi and good evening ! I have noticed that it seems to act up when I am more exposed to heat, and under stress. However, it just started. What else can I do ? I am frustrated because not only do I have this going on, but I think I am having another problem now as well , and don't know what to do about it
Expert:  Onlinedoc replied 3 months ago.

Well you should try such self care remedies for symptomatic relief.

And see a dermatologist or your GP for further treatment.

Do deep breathing exercises also.

How do you get hives ? What causes them ?
Expert:  Onlinedoc replied 2 months ago.

When there is an allergic reaction the body releases a protein called histamine resulting in red, raised, itchy skin bumps, rash.

There are various triggering factors like

a food allergy – to foods such as peanuts, shellfish, eggs and cheese
an allergic reaction – to environmental factors such as pollen, dust mites or chemicals
emotional stress
certain medications
physical triggers – such as pressure to the skin, changes in temperature, sunlight, exercise or water

Hope this helps.
