I have had a lump in my throat for about 3 months, the size

Customer Question

Hi, I have had a lump in my throat for about 3 months, the size varies and it's normally not painful, however today, it's rather large at it "hangs" if you will and it is uncomfortable, I am having a hard time swallowing, my tongue "burns" and nothing tastes right. I am supposed to do a barium swallow and an I forgot the exact word but the ENT wants to remove it. Problem is I have lost my insurance. I am scared it's cancer and I am stuck because there is nothing I can do about it.
JA: Are you keeping a personal medical record while dealing with this?
Customer: no ma'am, should I?
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: No, I am a smoker, I have Crohns disease that's about it ok
